We will be installing a cooling tower soon and I need to know where I can find the code for power line clearance. In my opinion, there shouldn't be a cooling tower near the power lines spraying water above. As a co-op, I do what I'm told. Our power is 13.8kv, I just want to know if NEC 110.34(A) is what I should be referring to. I know for swimming pools, as long as you're within the 10ft region of the lines, you must adhere to code. How about with everything else?

If the 13.8 is POCO then follow their rules. The NEC is weak in this area anyway.
