dears,
please advise if the code has any insutrcutions to install any poer panel above falce celling
my questions is related to sefty that in that case this power panel is not visible and fire fighting and smoke detectors will be not there to detect any fire happend in that panel
this proposal was submited by our contractors and i'm not agreed and waiting for someone to support me by n.e.c code statment
thanx

Overcurrent protection must be readily accessible so a power panel that provides OCPD for many circuits must meet the provisions of art. 110.26.

In most cases the NEC limits overcurrent devices to be no more than 6'-7" above the floor. There are some exceptions.

If there is a fixed stairway and floor with 110.26 working clearances at the panel location then it may be acceptable.

If you need a ladder to get to it - it is not readily accessible.
