power to condensing unit

Is it permissible to run power feeding a rooftop condensing unit on the same strut rack as the copper condensing lines running across a roof? I believe I have done this before, but lately I have been told the only conduit allowed on the rack is that containing control wiring.
 
There is no NEC section that prohibits running a conduit on a unistrut rack supporting other systems. You will want to make sure the unistrut rack is designed to carry the additional weight of the conduit.
