Power to Switch....

In this scenario( and using MC cable) there would be no need to drop a separate cable to each switch since they are back to back on same wall, correct?

1. Since lights are on same circuit 12/2 power in to both switches is fine?
2. If lights were on two different circuits you would need 12/3 power to the switches, correct?

12/3 would work for two circuits, but you'd need a s-pole breaker or a handle tie. Since they're the same circuit, 12/2 is perfectly fine.

Thanks again all. One last thing. If you had 7-8 typical to this next to each all on same circuit you can just bring power to first switch and connect(daisy chain) each switch with MC to bring power to every switch, correct? Thanks.

Yep, just like you would with NM.
