Im looking for a bit of help
I have seen several solutions on line for creating 120 V AC current from a wind generator.
A. These include 12 Volt turbines, such as SVOPES 800 W , or the Raptor G5 from Wind and Solar
B. I have also seen Direct AC systems, such as 3 Phase AC Wind Turbine Generator, 5000W 12V 24V 48V 220V Gearless Permanent Magnet AC Alternators with Controller ( I am not sure if a converter is needed if I get the 220 V system )
C. Which system would you recommend in this case?
D. What other items do I need to get , e.g. how many batteries would you recommend etc.?
E. I presume I need a DC to AC converter ? But which one ?
To be safe I am estimating my needs as : 750-1,500 kWh/month
Being that it is a small cabin I dont have a lot of room, I do have a 6' closet, and of course attic space.
I will want to spend the Summer at the cabin and use the system every day
Thank you very much for your feedback !
