That goes for other items, such as paint booths, I may purchase one for 40,000 American dollars, but I can get one that looks just like it for 5,000 over here. Until the inspector shows up, and there are no U.L. listing, none, motors, included. Now, what do we do??? Granted cheap is not always the best answer, somewhere it was said, "you only get what you pay for".

I found some "U.L." stamped extension cords in a dollar store this week for $1, bought 2 of them and did some research, minus the estimated weight of the insulation they would have about $2.20 in scrap copper in them (Each), how could this be? So I cut them up and guess what, basically a telephone cord, goes to show you you get what you pay for, and yes, made in China.

Too bad, wish they were copper, I would have bought them all out at every store and scrapped them .
