if you are referring to the requirements in NFPA70E I believe it is 50V.

your employer may require something different.

there are two different electrical hazards at play here - arc flash and electrocution.

electrocution is only a hazard above 50 V per 70E.

you have to have suitable PPE for all the hazards you are exposed to.

Good point. For some reason, I thought the question was directed at arc flash, but looking back, it doesn't say anything about arc flash.
