Prefab Fireplace

I have a 110V gas fireplace and it's pretty much standard stuff. Blower, LV remote control etc. Do you guys run NM for the 110V outlet below the unit that the blower plugs into or do you tail a piece of BX for this application. The outlet came with the unit and is right underneath the firebox and the Manuf doesn't spec anything. Thx

i've always used NM.

The firebox is pretty well insulated so there isn't much heat there at all. That being said I bring the nm cable directly into the JB.
