Prefabed electrical devices

How many of you have worked with prefab that comes with devices already installed? At first I questioned how sheet rock would go on with devices installed? Well today I took the cover off and found that the device can be adjusted forward fairly easily. The back of the boxes are all removable so they are wired from behind. I know the rockers hate them. What do you guys think?

I've never used them but it looks like there is more metal one pre-fab device than there is in all the steel studs.
