Preparation for Burns Harbor ArcelorMittal MTE Ramsey Test

Hello all. I am at a point in my life where I need to make a career change. I need to prepare myself to pass the MTE Ramsey Test for the Burns Harbor, IN ArcelorMittal site. I have no previous electrical experience, but I am a fast and determined learner. My Father is an MTE at this plant, and he got in via the Steel Workers of The Future program out of Purdue. I would LOVE to be able to sit down with my Father and learn directly from him but given our varying work schedules that is not possible.

I have found 3 books that were recommended by another forum user by the name of Hurk27. Those books are, Electricity & Electronic, Electrical Motor Controls, and Instrumentation. I have the relevant ISBN numbers and will begin my search for these books after my shift at work today.

I scoured the forums search feature using key words such as, "Burns Harbor, Indiana, Ramsey, Test, Study Guide", but it has come to my attention that each test is site specific based on that sites requirements.

Any help from a member of my local region who has taken the test personally would be greatly appreciated, and any mental preparation advice from any and all members is also appreciated. I am making this change in my life to provide for a family, and I can use all the positive vibes I can get. Thank you for taking the time to read this, have a blessed day.
