OK I'm a ressi guy so go easy on me but what does preset in preset dimmer refer to.Every dimmer I've ever installed has been preset ?

My understanding is that the preset refers to the control feature when a single touch, tap or switching will bring the light to a preset, changeable level instead of needing to adjust to the desired level manually, every time.
