Pressure Switch

I'm trying to build a church confessional kneeler pad that will turn a wall mounted light fixture ON/OFF. What kind of pressure switch can I use to install in a the kneeler pad? The idea is when a person kneels on the pad, the pressure switch inside the pad will turn OFF a wall mounted light fixture and when he/she gets off the pad, the light will turn ON.
Please help...:

You may need a relay to open the circuit when the mat closes it.

A photocell may be a more common device with a wider selection. (Neat idea though.)
