Pressurization Fan Motor

Does the motor inside a roof mounted pressurization fan enclosure have to be rated Nema 3r or better?

Does the enclosure have to be weather proof?

Any NEC codes would be helpful.

are motors rated nema 3R? I think NEMA3R refers to an enclosure's environmental rating.

"open drip proof" would be more what I'd expect in that application.
