I've been asked to upgrade the lighting in a cold room in a nearby warehouse. Currently, there are two rows of 8', 2 light, fluorescent fixtures attached to the ceiling (about 24' high, the customer will provide the lift). 6 fixtures in each row. The fixtures are the type in the plastic enclosure, with the snap on covers. The customer wants these two rows relocated a bit further apart and suspended about 12' above the floor. He also wants to add two more rows in between, and suspend them at the same height. This will require a new lighting circuit, in EMT, from the panel about 30' away. Three way switch located at each end of the cold room, about 60'. There are also six high-bay lights hanging down through the top of the room. He wants these lowered as well, to approximately the same height. They are hung from 3/4 rigid stems.
I'm curious what other EC's would figure for a job like this, as I am always second-guessing myself. This is in central Jersey.

Thanks,
John

Jes, How cold is the cold storage? If it is below Zero you might plan on using XHHW-2 conductors, as THHW tends to crack below Zero.

(I know, XHHW-2 does not say it is rated for low temp, but it works great!)

Thanks for the tip, Michael. But the temp inside the box is 38F, so THHN should be fine.
Thanks also to everyone else for all the advice on this one, it's been a great help.
I'm going in at about $15K.

John
