I recently got pricing on HDPE conduit, and have included PVC for comparsion:

2? PVC Sch 40 is $186/100 feet, available locally
2? PVC Sch 80 is $310/100 feet, available locally
2? HDPE (A13C4DPPE2) is $75.40/100, freight included, minimum of 2500 ft.
So if you can swing 2500 ft of HDPE you'll save 1/2 over running PVC.

HDPE was added in the 2005 NEC as Article 353.

This is the stuff we use when boring in feeders and circuits. Note that it can't be used exposed. 353.12(1)

Yup! We are using HDPE bored for site lighting stubbed up in poured/formed bases. It comes with a preinstalled "Jet Line"

Whos conduit are you using for this?
With Jet Line its the same material but in the NEC its Art 354 NUCC.
Note that HDPE is the same material that cutting boards are made from. Blow molded kayaks are also made from HDPE.

You didn't. I think Jet Line is a brand name. Our poly comes with a tape, but I never looked to see if it's Jet Line or not. Might be.

:D
