Well again all of these will depend on location.
We are getting the following on most projects in the Mid-Hudson Valley area of NY

15Amp residential grade Outlet $45
Light opening $75
Recessed Can 6" $95 - $105
Single Pole switch $45
3Way $65 per sw
Cable $125 per opening
Cat5e/Phone/Data $125 per opening

What is everybody getting for:

50 cfm bath fan
100 cfm whole house fan
200 amp overhead service
200 amp underground service
100 amp service
Heat lamp/fan combo
King fan forced heater w/ t stat

Re: pricing per unit in residental

Standard bath fan Light combos we charge about $100 for.

The whole house fan really depends on the choice and cost of the product and where its being installed.

200Amp over head starts at $2200

An underground service has to many variables to even name a price, but it would surely exceed $2200.

100Amp overhead starts at $1300.

Again this is what works for us and it all depends on your location and housing market.

RS Means has a flat rate price book with percentages to adjust to your secific area, not to bad for the price, but just remember these rates are for new construction, remodel work will be priced differant and priced higher.

Re: pricing per unit in residental

I recently purchased a 15A GFCI receptacle at a local supply house for around $17, it was a local brand name. When I checked later at Lowes,
a Cooper GFI was around $13. Is it only better to use a supply house when buying in bulk?

Wow, I can remember when house devices were $8.00/opening (recept/1P Sw/light fix outlet)
