Pricing Services
The major pricing services are Traser and Epic. Traser is the big boy with lots more items in their database. Epic was started by former Traser employees. Not quite as extensive of a database.
There is a bit of a backstory between the Traser and Epic.
NetPricer is the newer service that ties into ConEst. It also ties to a lot of the other estimating software. I'm assuming that is what you are using it for.
NetPricer is a great service. Graybar is big supporter of it but again it is dependant upon participation by your vendors. You can get your pricing over the net with NetPricer.
My opinion, Netpricer and the minimal level of Traser is the way to go. NetPricer will get most ofthe common material priced for you. Then use Traser for the odd items that you may run across plus it now gives you labor units based on NECA.
