Pricing variance

I do. I call it tiers
Since I price virtually everything by the opening, it depends on the time/difficulty/materials of the average opening.

These are my tiers starting with the lowest price

Residential new construction
Residential additions and basements
Residential kitchen remodel
Commercial general new construction
Residential bath and laundry remodel
Commercial remodel (offices & such)
Residential service work
Commercial restaurant, service work, etc
 
I use different labor-hour rates for different work environments (only 4 groups). Additionally, I have different mobilization and overhead factors for itemized pricing (service), project bids, and labor and material bids.
