Is there a code that states the maximum distance a panel can be on the primary or secondary side of a transformer? Ty

A panel no but on the secondary there is a rule regarding the maximum conductor length from the transformer to the OCPD. Typically it's 25' for standard 3Ø, 480/208-120 transformers.
