Letter size printers have become very inexpensive. Is that also the case with ledger size printers? I'm getting tired of going to the printer to print out plans that are often (not always) usable at 11x17 inches. Does anybody make a ledger size printer for say under $400?

Office Depot has a Lexmark that will print 11 x 17 documents for around $300, and I should have responded with a model #. I have to go up there in a little while, and I'll get the info then.

Thanks. I tried HP's website and didn't see anything. The site didn't seem very informative. I even tried the "live chat" to get some help, but after waiting several minutes for a live chat response they finally said I could wait a few minutes longer or I could call them on the phone. I elected not to.

I've had a HP Deskjet 9800 that will do up to 11 x 17 in color. Bought it for about $300 about 3 years ago. No problems yet. Draw to scale and print it out and my mechanical scale matches perfectly.
