Is there a requirement for the bond to the pump base or tank that is run to steel or the ground loop to be green if insulated?

That type of bonding is not covered by the NEC so there is no requirement to use any color or type of conductor.

Clarification

Don and Roger seem to contradict. The conductor is run in a concrete floor and connected from various equuipment to, the building steel on raised floors, and to the ground ring on floors at grade level. IEEE 1100 or NFPA 780? Equipotential or simply redundant I am not sure, but I believe not NFPA 70 since not run with the circuit conductors. I need clarification or face rework.

It is probably of no benefit but I have never seen a Static Ground Reel or Coiled Ground Cable that was Green. It is either bare or if insulated it is Red, Orange, or Yellow.

I would think if a code applied to your OP it would include the temproary grounding/bonding methods as well.

wieand, by using the term Equipment Ground as recognized by the NEC, 250.119 would be relevant but, what you are describing is correctly addressed by Don.

Form the explanation, this sounds like it would fall under 250.54. It is supplmentary, not supplemental.

If this is so, there is no requirement for identification other than it not be white or gray. Also, do not forget to comply with the last sentence of this requirement.

It would also seem to me (without knowing or seeing the final result of installation) that this install will help to create some really fine ground loop(s).
