The produce warehose that im working on has big walkin coolers. These coolers require outlets in them. Is there any reason why you couldn't supply power to those outlets from underground? Ive done walkin coolers before (on a smaller scale) and i've never seen it done.

Make sure you seal your pipes that enter from warmer areas. ( duct seal ).

Or at least squeeze the pipes with a set of pipe pliers, to reduce the amount of air flow.
