Product Recall - Pass & Seymour Commercial-Grade Electrical Receptacles

It seems that due to a manufacturing problem, the TR feature may not allow full engagement of the plug blades which could lead to overheating.

The resolution is to return them for refund or replacement.

How would you like to find out about the recall after installing a couple thousand of these and know they need to be replaced?

I had to replace about 10-12 recalled GFCI type receptacles 20 are so years ago. That wasn't so bad but I can just imagine what it would be like to have to go to several different jobs and explain that all their receptacles need to be replaced.

I would contact my supplier looking for an official response from P&S about how they will be paying for the labor, materials, (on OT), following up directly with P&S after not getting satisfaction; keeping records (registered letters), for the class action lawsuit.
