Does anyone use a job task sheet or work break down sheet to help assign task on projets. Or do you just let lead JM, Foreman, or Super determine whats needed to be done daily. We are trying to develop a task sheet with Phase1 Demo of equipment, determine placement and rough in new equipment, rough in new conduit and wiring on interior portion of project. Phase 2 consist of waiting for all construction on exterior portion then start roughing in all conduit and wiring for new equipment. The crews for most part know what they are doing but could use a litle organization.
 
Don't try to fix something that is not broken. It may appear like you are helping by creating some forms for people to fill out but inevitably the work ends up being about the forms and not the work.

I agree with u 100%. but the company I work for runs on paper work and meetings. They want to track progress at all times and I find that annoying.

That is really annoying.

I use Asana for project management. It’s equally capable of micromanagement. It has an app and a web interface. Allows for collaborations on tasks. I like a legal pad, but when you’re working as a team, Asana is nice.
