We will be Installing the underground conduit to an outdoor propane tank filling station,
a disconnect switch, motor starter, and emergency stop button to be in installed 26 feet from the fill station with seals at both ends.
Do the enclosures for the switch and motor starter need to be explosion proof?
Where does the hazardous location end?
Is the 26 foot location a Class 1 Division 2 or a Unclassified location?
The disconnect switch and emergency start button are required to be no less than 25 feet and no more than 100 feet from the tank filling location.
Would a Nema 3R enclosure be permitted instead of the explosion proof enclosure at the 26 foot or more location?
The pump motor is a 2 HP 208 volt 1 phase
