I have an 7 inch water main i need to connect a ground jumper to. Im connecting a jumper across the meter which is connected to the main with 2.5inch pipe. theres no room to get a clamp on the street side except on the 7 inch main. Any suggestions for what to use?

Don,
On page 21, the sizes only go up to 6".
Just my $.02

Is everyone comparing oranges?
6" pipe is 6 5/8" OD.
I've never seen 7" pipe....of course, I've haven't seen everything (yet).
Just a thought

Often times where the water service enters the building, you'll find a joint that (excuse the jargon-I'm no plumber) looks like 2 flanges, one on each pipe, that are bolted together. These "flanges" are about 3/4" thick steel. You can actually drill and tap a hole in the side of this part and mount a typical mechanical lug. Ask the plumber before you do it; there's nothing wrong with it but I dont want you to misinterpret what i'm saying and cause a leak.
