Proper Size for a KVA transformer-Single Phase

Hello,

How do you size a Dry Type transformer to "buck" power from 480V primary to 120/240V secondary single phase?:-? I need to feed a 600 amp single phase panel.

Hmmmm.....

Here is how I would handle your situation:

1. Hire an Engineer
2. Get something on paper
3. Obtain a permit
4. Complete the work PER the drawings
5. Get an inspection
6. Pass the inspection and get a final
7. Get paid and move on to the next job.

Trust me. It really is the correct way to do it.:wink:

I beleive he was talking about the graphics that go with the article... But the calc's should help you.
