Proper use of a Multi tap

My Electrican used a multi tap to feed a 4 awg cable to my barn 60 amp panel. he tapped off the 4/0 200 amp line. is this up to code? thank

Was the work inspected?

Does the 60 amp panel have a main circuit breaker? If so, the installation is likely OK. But I'll wait for answers to Tom's questions before I can be certain.

Are the conductors that were tapped service conductors or feeder conductors?

It is a feeder conductor. After the Main service disconnect. And with #4 wire should pass the 10ft rule
