I am installing a 1.5 ton minisplit ac and would like to properly size the wire that goes to the disconnect. The distance is over 60' and the breaker it calls for is either 15 or 20 amp. I haven't got the unit yet so I don't know what size breaker it requires. I understand 14-2 awg calls for a 15 amp breaker and 12-2 calls for a 20 amp breaker but I would sooner air on the larger wire for safety. Is 10-2 awg to big for a 18000 btu unit or will it be ok.

Thank you
