I have a property line box were I'm working now. We have 10 RGC with a set of 750 kcmil wires inside running from the box to the end box inside the building. We bonded each conduit with a #2/0 to the metal frame of the switch gear. We have a MBJ in place, ground rod, water groung and building steel bonded together . The inspector require me to drive a ground road inside the box and bonding again the pipe to the ground rod. Is it correct?
code se tion?
I tough that the only situation were you have to bond the pipe in both end is if you had a PVC on the middle of you run.thx

The only requirement of bonding a conduit at both ends is if it contains a grounding electrode conductor, 250.64(E) and what you said.

grounding electrode systems are only required at "each" building or structure 250.50 and don't leave out the (each) word, if he is calling the vault a structure then it might need a electrode, which it would have to bond to the EGC's.

You never run an GEC between structures, you create a new electrode system at each structure.

The call could be right but for the wrong reason.

For service grounding, see Part III of Article 250.

If one has both water and steel, ground rods are not required. You can add as many electrodes as you like, but they are not required.
See 250.53(D)(2). This section permits the water to be supplemented by any of the other electrodes that are present as per 250.52(A)(2)-(A)(8)
