Proposed 2011 PDF

I am starting to get my mind set on the upcoming 2001 code book. I did a search for 2011 changes and found this link and thought I would post. Any additional links that may be out there, especially regarding sprinkler systems would be appreciated. My internet search skills are feast or famine.

Thank you that is a useful link. I don't think there will be much out there yet for changes to the NFPA sprinkler codes since the next code cycle is 2013.

I actually saved that draft to my desktop months ago. I believe we are past the draft as everything has been finalized so I am not sure how far off the draft is from the real McCoy.

My thought also is how the final will vary from he draft.

If there are no changes to the draft than I may not have to look into the cd-rom version of the 2011. :grin: I recently got the Droid X phone with 4.3" screen so I can better read pdfs and such. I would love to have NEC in my pocket wherever I go. Let's see how well I can navigate this one first.

A problem I seem to have with the pdf version of the codebooks is that my mouse scroll wheel becomes very sensitive with that file loaded. Any movement will send the current page off to some other chapter and it gets annoying at times. I bet that doesn't happen to the cd version.

Mac, I saved the PDF Draft of the 2011 to my computer- simple just do a "Save as" -- and I have had no issues at all with it.

There is another thread going on about it but apparently you will be able to download it but not get a CD.

May I suggest changing the scrolling speed in your mouse's software properties? I can change mouse properties for individual programs or globally with the one I have.
