I have been asked to determine any code violation regarding a conveying system that is being planned for our assembly floor. The top of two sets of conveyors are 10' AFF and are running perpendicular (north to south) under the same length of of busway for a short time, while the busway is approximately 12'AFF (running west to east), leaving at most a 2' gap. I'm assuming that as long as I don't intend to use a plug and the busway plug terminals remain closed off from any finger access, that it is not a violation of any workable space criteria. Is this assumption correct? Thanks.
