Has anyone ever had experience or knowledge about building ab electrical service room on the second floor of a building.

We're trying to find a space to build a new service for a customer and the second floor is kind of the only option.

From pseg pad mount there would be about 8 sets of 4" with 750 mcm aluminum

Was curious if they would allow me this. Possibly if I encased SEC in concrete?

Any insight would be great

I'm not sure about PSEG but with ConEd we would run the conductors in RMC embedded in concrete. That would be code complaint according to the NEC.

Concrete encasement as Infinity stated conform with 'unprotected conductors within structure' per NEC.

PSE&G accepts NEC compliance on secondary wiring methods, from pad mount utility transformers to OCP and metering equipment.

BTW, Infinity...nice job!!
