Need to know PseG meter hight on a drive way is 6'6" is that top of pan or top of glass? Also am I required to run schedule 80 now in jersey on a drive way ?

I believe it's 6'6" to the top of the meter enclosure.

If you're coming out of the bottom of the meter enclosure and it could be subject to damage then I believe the answer is yes. I don't think PSE&G will make you use sch 80 but the EI probably will. It seems kind of wierd though, especially if you use an LB to make the transition into the house.

Do you have a copy of the PSE&G installation manual ? The latest one I have is 2005. The note on page A-6 states that the height to the top of the meter enclosure shall be 6'6" where sidewalks, walkways, driveways and/or blacktop is within 2'0" in front of the meter pan.
