Hi, Can anyone tell me if I need to use MC cable to wire a kitchenette in a public library? It is a one story building in NJ, and the area will not be used by the public, only the employees will have access.

You would probably need to find out what the building type is. Chances are, MC or EMT would be required.

Don't forget to check out 210.8(B)(2).

I agree with George. Once you know the building type then you can look at 334.10 to see if NM cable is permitted.
