314.28 gives requirement for the LxW dimensions for Pull / Juction Boxes.

Are there requirements for minimum volume ?

314.16 does address this but only up to #6 conductors.

Am I missing something?

Re: Pull and Junction Box Size

In a practical sense the volume is governed by the need to separate the raceways that are carrying the conductors. Compliant enclosures will inevitably have sufficient volume for those larger conductors.

Re: Pull and Junction Box Size

Tom is right, 314.28 puts requirements for 4AWG or larger, to ensure the JBs have enough volume.

Often violated is 314.28(A)(2)
"The distance between the raceway entries enclosing the same conductors shall not be less than six times the metric designator (trade size) of the larger raceway."

Also see 300.34 Conductor bending radius.
