I read a NEC violation report which states:
"Transitions from ductbanks to cable tray and conduit does not effectively protect the cables. These transitions should be via a pull box or close attachment to the tray.
Taking a 6? conduit to a 1X8 wire basket tray should have a pull box for the transition."
Does anybody knows why a pull box is required for the transition?
