I have 6-4'' conduits to enter side of pull box. I will exit the back of the pull box. Does that mean I need a 4x6 =24+20= 44'' pull box? so minimum size pull box would be 48x48x18'' I will be install 6-4'' conduits with paralled 600mcm for a 2500a service. The I am coming out of a 24'' x 30'' x10'' upper bussed ct can. The entire CT can is 90'' x 30'' x 10'' I am just trying to get the 6-4'' load side to work into the new pull box I will need to bring into building. The switch board is 2500a with a botton feed but the building is existing so we will now penetrate into side of switchboard I am just trhing to figure that out. I plan on put a pull box outside wall and inside wall. I cant penetrate the top of switchboard so I will need to install a pull box inside the electrical room to able to go high then bring in low near lugs. There is some existing equipment outside the electrical room wall that will not allow me to bring conduit directly below gear. SO I am trying to determine the correct size pull box for this equipment. So would a 48''x48' x12' pull box work outside. I dont need it to be as wide on inside. I need help with sizing a pull box indoor to come in high then down low to lugs on switchboard. I hope this makes sense. I cant ever upload pics so I am trying to paint a mental description but I dont know how to paint.
