Just curious if anyone has seen this referenced before and if so what other name have you heard this testing go by? I see it always referenced as Pull the plug test.

No, this is a test when norm power failure is simulated and em power takes over.

Okay, you are talking about 700.4 testing. At my last job we subbed that out.
I just told people it was time to "punch out the lights, so turn off your 'puters" when the contractor and Fire Marshall showed up.
