I know how to size pullboxes with conduits terminating into and out of the pullbox.

But what if I have wireways terminating into the pullbox and then conduits coming out? How should I size the pullbox per code in this scenerio?

I would do like you do for cables...translate to conduit size.. Look at the conductors in the wireway, and find the smallest conduit size that those conductors will fit in and use that conduit size for you box size calculations. However the code does not say that.

That's what I was thinking... also was wondering maybe the "pullbox" isn't really a pullbox in this scenario. Maybe the pullbox is considered a larger wireway? This is such a gray area...

what if I have conduits coming out of the wireway instead of the pullbox? Does the conduits coming out of the wireway need to follow angle pulls?

See 376.23(B). Note that it works a bit different than the pull box rules, as you only need to comply with the distance between conduit entries for the wireway.
