Getting ready to run cable through 2" conduit from my home to my shop - about 100 feet total. I need 90 amps of service to the sub panel in the shop. The conduit has a few 45 degree bends (had to go around septic stuff) plus the two 90s at either end.

I would rather use copper wire over aluminum anyway and I assume a #3 Cu would be easier to run than the fatter #1 Al but thought I ask just in case. Also, can I put grease or petroleum jelly on the cable to help it pass?

I would use integrated gas spacer cable for this.

The aluminum will pull a little easier due to the weight of the wire. Although the newer copper THHN/THWN Sim-pull cable that is pre-lubed will pull easier than the aluminum. If you use lubricant use one that is specific to electrical cable. Any other lube may degrade the insulation.
