Pulling MI

Can you pull 3 single conductor #250 MI cables at once or they have to be pulled separate? I know pulleys are involved sometimes.

I wouldn't suggest pulling them separately, especially if they are traveling in the same space. By the time you get to the third conductor, it may wind up rubbing against the first two, and copper isn't very slippery.

On a side note....any reason(I know it would have to be approved) not to use, or why you couldn't us Vitalink 2 hour rated MC cable in lieu of MI

Given a choice, I'd use Vitalink every time. I don't recall the specifics, but their might be issues using it for fire pumps. Check article 695 for the details.
