Hi all,
I'm trying to figure out the pulling tension for a 381' run. When starting at a XFRM and and pulling to a 90deg elbow, is it acceptable to say that the initial tension at the XFRM is zero? Or should I put a small tension(say25lbs) at that point? This is going to be a 3phase run that will terminate at a primary pull box - all the elbows added together is over 270deg. Yes, the crew will hate me, but it's got to be done.
I've already used an online calculator (thanks SOUTHWIRE) and did a manual calc and they are reasonable close.
Thanks,
