I have done some pulling tensions in the past before, but I was informed that there is a pulling tension forumla that takes into effect the length of the arc not just the angle to give you a better number. Does anyone know where I can find this at I have been looking on the net now for a couple of days and have come up empty. Thanks for all the help.

See if you can find a copy of Southwire's "Power Cable Manual". I have a hard copy, but I don't think that they have it on the net. It has some pulling tension formulas that use the radius and degrees of bend in the calculations. Note that most of the time the "sidewall pressure" and not the pulling tension itself if the limiting factor.
