I'm about to wire another new submersible pump with a seal fail electrode. This is the kind where there is only a single wire in the control cable for the electrode. I understand I will need a seal fail relay similar to this: https://cdn.automationdirect.com/static/specs/psfrrelays.pdf

My question is, what do I land on the "Com" (common) terminal of the relay. I think the other side of the electrode is connected to the pump chassis. Would I land the pump ground wire or at least a ground wire from the control panel terminals to this Com terminal?

The "COM" terminal of the Seal Failure Relay will need to be connected to the metal chassis of the submersible pump (if the pump chassis is already connected to a common or ground, the "COM" terminal can be connected there as well)
