PV Connection to Multi-Section Switchboard

Hey all, I apologize if this has been discussed in the past, but I did a search and couldn't find anything.

Regarding interconnecting PV to a multi-section service switchboard. Generally, the bus rating of vertical sections is lower than that of the horizontal sections. If the 705 calculations are requiring 4000A bus, do all vertical sections need to be fully rated? I really couldn't find anything that says no, but thought I'd check in if I'm missing something. Thanks in advance for any input.

For the past few cycles the code has usually had a section allowing connections on such equipment 'under engineering supervision'. Otherwise you would need all bussing to be fully rated, or find a different solution. Keep in mind you may also need the engineering supervision to surmount an opposite end rule.
