PV grounding electrode system

does anybody have any clear info on the requirements of this re-written section, the 2008 seems to have made this section very confusing, thanks

2008 NEC seems to be rewriten and is more confusing. It appears that you can use the equipment ground to make the connection between the AC and DC systems and just have the one grounding electrode system. Not sure my view is totally correct. Would like to hear others input. Because it also talks about establishing a grounding electrode system as near as pratical to the array. Not much help.

thanks but both of these links are not based on the 2008, I had a pretty good handle on the 05 requirements, but the 2008 does not make sense

Did you read Appendix E statements dated March and November 2008. Will not swear to it, but I think it addresses the changes made in 2008 cycle... I still work with the 2005 cycle.
