PV Grounding

We are experiencing different opinions from different inspectors about grounding PV modules. Some want us to run a continuous grounding conductor between modules. Others say grounding the mounting structures is adequate. I believe the code allows for grounding to one central point if the metal structure in bolted together.

Are you asking about equipment grounding (bonding)?

If so, 690.43 refers back to 250.136(A) which seems to indicate bonding to the metal structure the modules will be attached to will be sufficient.
