Hello,
There's an existing center fed panel with a 200A main breaker. The UL listing and bus rating labels are missing. The 20A PV breaker is at one end of the busbar. What NEC code section requires the panel shall be re-labeled by the manufacturer or a local AHJ listed field service organization (because sometimes 200A breaker could be installed at a lower amp rating busbar)?
Thanks.

For service equipment:
Code:
230.66 Marking. Service equipment rated at 1000 volts or less
shall be marked to identify it as being suitable for use as service
equipment. All service equipment shall be listed or field labeled.
Individual meter socket enclosures shall not be considered ser-
vice equipment but shall be listed and rated for the voltage and
ampacity of the service.

See also definition of Field Labeled:
(as applied to evaluated products). Equip-
ment or materials to which has been attached a label, symbol,
or other identifying mark of an FEB indicating the equipment
or materials were evaluated and found to comply with require-
ments as described in an accompanying field evaluation report.

I make a best effort to track down the OEM if they are still in business and try to get a label.
See what your AHJ considers a FEB.
I de-energize and take very accurate measurements of the bus bar, and determine its rating as per
Table 11.2 of UL 67 and put my own FEB label on it.

For the mass produced panel world (e.g. loadcenters), UL bases ampacity on temperature rise and not on busbar dimensions.
Dennis showed me you can view UL standards for free, so anyone can view UL 67. A residential panel would just be listed to that.
