PVC CONDUIT

I have been seeing web sites that state the minimum burial depth for PVC is 18" for residential and 24" for commercial. I cannot find any code support for this commercial 24"?. I am not referring to under a roadway, etc. The only thing I can find is 300.5 that says 18".

That's what I've always thought. Google burial depth for PVC one time. I dont know where this is coming from.
